Ate here two nights ago! My wife and her friend found this place searching for all you can eat crab legs. Oyster Shuckers is located near st.pete beach. I'm not very fond of seafood so I had to choose something else. I have been craving nachos for a while and we finally went to a place that had them. I asked him about the portion size seeing as I haven't eaten all day. The server told me it was a very large portion and that definitely was not a lie. I got the nachos and it was humongous. The nachos had chili cheese, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and sour cream drizzle. I also asked for jalapeño peppers and a side of salsa which was no issue. The nachos were "OK". What made this a 4/5 was the service. The server was constantly refilling our drinks and very attentive to the all you can eat crab eaters. He always brought out a fresh batch of crab legs when there were ready. My wife and her friend loved the crab legs. ::Edit:: forgot to mention I also had cheese sticks which we delicious!

On vacation and looking for AYCE crab legs - came across the Oyster Shucker and based on yelp reviews, decided to give it a try. We came for the crab legs, but started with the baked Brie appetizer just to try something different. It was good, but nothing spectacular. Crab legs started coming out right after our appetizer was cleared and they did not disappoint. Wait staff was continuously bringing refills on crab before our plates were even empty. Definitely worth the $28.95 and would definitely go back.

6 words: All You Can Eat Crab Legs. This was my first visit to the Oyster Shucker, and next time I'm in St Pete, I'll definitely go back! My family and I were down the beach and after renting waverunners, we worked up quite the appetite..heard there was an all you can eat special on crab legs for $28.95 and had to check it out! The claws were huge and the meat in those legs was SO good, big chunks! I loved our server and he and the other servers were constantly walking around with big bowls of claws, so you never had to wait for more! I've never been to a restaurant where nearly everyone was having the same thing, so it made for a fun atmosphere to hear the crunching of the legs and the hit of the bucket after throwing in the shells. The outdoor seating on the deck with the view of the water was beautiful! Keep that special up Oyster Shucker and I'll see you next year!

We were looking for the perfect seafood place in St Pete and Oyster Shuckers hit the spot! Right next to the water with a beautiful view, the restaurant offers fresh seafood at decent prices. About $28 for the all-you-can-eat snow crab, $20 for 2 pounds, and $14 for one pound. I was considering the all you can eat, but decided to get only one pound of crab, which was plenty enough with my appetizer shrimp & mussels with garlic white wine sauce. My guests had the seafood combo special for two (around $26), which included a pound each of a variety of seafood (snow crab, shrimp, etc) with corn and potatoes. It was happy hour until 7pm so they offered specials on drinks like the 2-1 margaritas and beers, as well as appetizer specials like my fried shrimp.

Took a cab ride to go to oyster shuckers at 8:30 and when we walked in the lady said "sorry we're closed its been slow so we closed early". Really? Thanks! Never again.

Awesome place to relax and eat. Great service. Had all you can eat crab meat. Never was without crab on my plate. Servers come around very frequently to make sure your plate is full. Crab is fresh and great tasting. Very recomended. I will def be coming back.

I had a great time here. My friends and I were strolling the beach and saw the plane advertising the all you can eat crab legs and figured why not? The crab legs were of good quality and they keep them coming. Two of friends got other dishes that looked awesome as well and they were happy with them. 2 for 1 margaritas, pleasant servers and a nice view of the beach to top it off. Come hungry and get your money's worth!

While on vacation, we were told about this place from a friend. We were not disappointed. The all you can eat crab for 26.95 is amazing. It is so fresh and they keep it coming until you tell them to stop. The oysters we ordered were also fabulous. I also had the Blackened Mahi and it was tasty. . The service was great. The owner stopped by our table to see how were doing and talked to my kids for a couple minutes as well. Oh, and their margaritas are 2 for 1 everyday!(please drink responsibly) Next time I am in the area, I will certainly be going back!

Last weekend, we took a boat charter. The captain and crew of the ship pointed out a couple of local restaurants that they recommended. One of which, was Oyster Shucker. This was a great coincidence as we had a rehearsal dinner to attend there just days later. Between the recommendations of the crew and our friends who had been there before, we were really looking forward to our visit. The staff had set us up with a semi-private room in the back overlooking the water. It was about an hour from sunset, so the view was spectacular. As the sun set, however, it didn't really seem like they turned up the lights - leaving the dining room feeling rather dim. There were candles on the table, but no one ever came out to light them. One of our group spotted a lighter sitting on a table nearby and lit them themselves. With a name like "Oyster Shucker", we just *had* to order some. Oysters are weird in that they always seem really expensive or really cheap. These fell close to the "really expensive" category at $11 for a dozen of plain raw ones. We got the raw ones, but they offer some specially dressed ones that are much more expensive at $11 for half a dozen. They came out and we were pleasantly surprised at how meaty they were. While meaty, though, they really just didn't taste as good as a lot of other oysters I've had - even in the St Pete area. Not bad, mind you, they just didn't wow me aside from their size. Unfortunately, the decent oysters seemed to have been the highlight of the night. In addition to the oysters, I ordered the paella with a ceasar salad. My wife ordered the Mahi Oscar whose name confuses me. It's mahi covered in crab meat, with asparagus and a bernaise sauce. First up was the ceasar salad. It was under-seasoned and bland. The dressing should be made with eggs and have a bit of bite to it. It had neither. It honestly tasted like something that probably came out of a bottle. The salad also lacked any sort of shredded/grated or chunks of parmesan cheese. Having such a great ceasar salad at another restaurant literally minutes away from this one is probably making me a little extra bitter at the disappointment here. Next up were the entrees. My paella was greasy and burnt. The clams and mussels had been washed well, but they weren't wide open as they really should be when cooked fully. I wouldn't go so far as to say that they were undercooked, but they probably could have - and should have been cooked just a little bit more. You know that feeling you get when you think there's something really wrong with a dish - and that you might get food poisoning if you don't stop eating it? My wife got that feeling and stopped less than half way through her meal. She described it using words like, "stupid", "terrible" and "food poisoning bad". Drinks were decent, but unremarkable. No one had any dessert. I think we were all just ready to get out of this place and head back to the bar. I didn't poll all of the other guests, but the general consensus that I heard was that the food was poor to mediocre. In a party of about 15 or so people, I didn't hear a single person go on about how awesome their meal was. Service was acceptable, but our waiter was getting a pre-included tip and he knew it. He did exactly what he was required to - no more - no less.

Six of us had the all you can eat crab for 26.95 and they kept them coming the crab was hot and well prepared. They weren't slow with the refills and were great and anticipating when we needed more so it didnt feel like we were waiting around. The only critiques were the ultimate Bloody Mary wasn't that good but the deliciousness of the crab made up for it and they weren't willing to do the shrimp appetizer as all coconut shrimp vs the three variety of shrimp offered. All in all a great meal for the family out!

We had a group of 12 and the waitress handled it beautifully. The food was great and we all were completely happy. I had the Mahi hunk grilled and it was high quality fish and fresh. Other members of our group had the lobster pizza and it was delish. Even a passerby had to come over to inquire about it to order on their next visit. Definitely give this place a try!

  • Roger D.

The food is mediocre at best and the service was sub-par as well.

  • Frankie G.

The menu is very limited. The waiters made us wait a long time before taking our orders. + to add to it was over charged by almost $9. Called the manager to inquire about the over charge and was promised a refund. Its been almost 3 weeks and still waiting on the overcharge refund. DO NOT EAT HERE!

  • Drew M.

This place was very reasonable. The food was OK but I would not write home about it. It was casual and the staff was very nice. If I'm in the mood for a inexpensive casual meal I would go back.

It seems PJs has the reputation of being the best raw oysters bar on St. Pete Beach, but I would venture to guess Oyster Shucker is just as good or better. It's within walking distance of almost any resort on St. Pete Beach. I recommend sitting on the patio so you can watch the waterfront and listen to the live music coming from the Sloppy Pelican. There are several other beach bars that sell raw oysters, but many don't clean out the sand or take off the barnacles- yuck! No one wants to eat sand, even after a couple Rum Runners! The waitress was friendly and the service was excellent. My only complaint is that the live music they had that night sounded like funeral music, but on the patio you couldn't hear it, thank goodness.

  • Sylvia D.

This was pretty good, the crab legs just kept coming. The raw oysters were ok but not super meaty. I had a virgin pina colada which was the bomb. The view was nice, we could see our condo from across the intercoastal

I was here for a wedding rehearsal dinner, and therefore only had a very limited menu. I went with the blackened Mahi Mahi which was average. Again, because it was a rehearsal dinner, we were all shared by several different waitresses, and their service was good. Probably the best thing about this place is that it is next to so many other quality places. Woody's across the street (waterfront) is amazing, and the Sloppy Pelican and The Daiquiri Shak are also both just a stones throw away. Also, they had a balloon guy for entertainment, and he was darn good. Overall, good place to eat and drink, but there are better.

My fiancé and I were vacationing in the area. While we were on the beach we noticed a small plane waving a banner for all you can eat crab legs for $26.95. We pondered this and decided, "Why not?" We live in Chicago where the only crab "buffet" we are aware of is in a casino or a suburban Chinese restaurant...and it is probably the furthest thing from "fresh." We yelped it and read the decent reviews for the snow crab legs. We arrived just in time to grab the last available parking space around the restaurant. We were given the option to sit outdoors if we were willing to wait. My growling stomach was impatient so we grabbed a window seat. Our server, Margie, was sweet andattentive. Our 2 for 1 margaritas had a nice flavor but we wondered if they were virgin as we felt no "kick" as we were finishing them up (and believe me, I am usually the first to say I'm feeling it!). Our crab and side of choice arrived within minutes. I cracked open a leg and it was so juicy, flavorful and meaty. I wasn't halfway done until Margie, or a number of servers walked by with tongs and plates of steaming legs to fill me up again. I literally had to turn down 3 people. I was in heaven. An older woman who I think may have been an owner stopped by to say hi. Very nice people and good food! I'd come back again :)

My friend and I are always on the hunt for delicious seafood, and Oyster Shucker delivered. I had the AYCE crab legs one night which were cooked well and really good quality, especially for the price. The second time I had the steamed clams and they are the best I have ever had. My friend got steamed clams, steamed mussels and raw oysters the first night and thought the steamed clams and raw oysters were among the best (and largest) that she's ever had but neither of us were impressed with the steamed mussels. The second time we got a table full of steamed clams and raw oysters and were again very pleased with the quality of the meal. I also got a caesar salad which was nothing special. It was a little bland and had way too much dressing. Verdict: stick with the steamed clams, raw oysters and crab legs for a great meal!

Good food and great service. Got the lobster dinner for 20 bucks.. Should come on tues wed and thurs for all you can eat king crab legs for 20 bucks!

  • Mandy K.

I was going to give it one star but I might have got worse than this. With a name as Oyster Shucker, you probably expect to eat the best priced and freshest oysters you can get, right? Think again..... $12 for a dozen is not exactly cheap considering the average prices in the area and definitely nothing to rave about. Probably not even fresh (fresh-frozen?). The tuna sashimi was overcooked and served without any grace. Two chunks of sesame coated tuna steaks. I had BBQ Shrimp kebabs and I hated them. I couldn't finish one stick. It didn't smell like fresh shrimp and it tasted horrible. My son had the usual fried-something brought in a basket and he was OK with it. Plastic glasses, lousy service..... and it was Friday night with only 3 tables (10 people in all). The restaurant opposite was filled with people and music....... this should have told us to stay away.....

Had the sauteed mussels and spinach dip for starters. Was really disappointed in the mussels. They were over cooked and the sauce lacked flavor. The spinach dip was pretty standard. I ordered the four pairs of oysters. Oscar, Millionaire, Sushi and Chicago. The Chicago was very good. The Oscar and Millionaire was ok but the Sushi was horrible. Sushi stacked on an oyster was just over kill. Probably should have seen that coming.

Lousy service with an attitude. Our order was messed up twice and the waitress claimed our half-portion was the new full portion...won't be returning again.

We had a great meal here. Seafood better quality than the other restaurants in this area but not much more expensive. Fried oysters were huge we also had keywest style oysters that were quite good.

We love this place. Yummy crab and coconut shrimp! We went twice on vacation and we went last year as well. They have specials on crab legs during the week and they were excellent with our son.

  • Louise N.

As everyone has mentioned - all you can eat crabs, every night of the week. Woo hoo! And they just kept on comin'! They didn't ask if you wanted more, put in an order, wait... They would just come around with a freshly cooked batch and throw them on your plate. Kinda awesome. I did not partake in the crab, since I was crabbed out from the night before, but I did try the paella. After asking our waiter (whose name escapes me) which his favorite dish was, he recommended the paella, no question. Now, I appreciate it when they don't suggest the most expensive item on the menu. It shows they just want you to enjoy! Since we visited over a month ago, I don't remember what exactly the fruity drink was that I had - but it was good (and strong), I remember that! The shrimp sampler was also pretty good. Hint: Sit out on the deck, even if it is hot. The view is worth it!

  • Chris R.

Pretty good overall. Place was busy and the service was a little slow but they did have a very nice young lady walking around making balloon animals/hats for the kids. This made my children very happy. We will be back.

Crab. Crab. And more crab. LOVED this lil place. Didn't have anything but crab, so not sure how helpful this review will be if you don't like crab. They've got AYCE crab for $28.95, 7 days a week. It was cooked just right, served hot and never even had a minute to wait between clusters. GREAT service. And, next time I go I promise I'll take a pic before I dig in. P.S. What the holy #$@! is wrong with Carmelle L.?! Is she serious about asking for gluten free crabs??? Shame on her for bringing Shucker's Yelp rating down cuz she's a gluten free moron.

Great place for crab legs. We were looking for a place to go on our last day of vacation and with the all you can eat crab legs for $28.95, this was the place. The crab was delicious and they practically forced you to eat as much as you could eat ( I like getting my money's worth). We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the water. Definitely a place to go!

  • Jamie T.

Excellent!! Wish we would have found this place the first day and not the last :( The food was prepared well and tasted amazing! wait staff was awesome! I had the all you can eat crab and never had to beg for more, they just kept it coming without me asking, which was nice. They had an early dining menu which had a bunch of low cost entrees ($9.95) Steak and shrimp $11.95 which was the best $12 dinner I've ever tasted. Big value for not much $$ Probably one of the best restaurants on the beach, a MUST do! I can't say enough about the Oyster Shuckers. How do you make a glutin free crab Carmelle L??? Oh and $2.75 23 ounce draft beers till 7pm WHAT!

  • Justin D.

Very friendly staff who made sure I was never even close to running out of crab legs. Had all you can eat and they brought me piping hot crab legs well before they needed to. Very quick to offer drink refills too. Food was good, including the kids meals. Didn't have alcohol but the bar sounded like they were enjoying themselves. I find reviews very helpful and if you do too please take our advise that this place was worth the $50 dinner for 4.

My husband wanted to have crab legs on vacay and for the price this place was great. It is kid friendly and they have a separate bar area. The food was good along with the service. The owner came out and asked how everything was. The only thing I would change is where they have the salad bar. There is not enough room to walk around it due to too many tables in the dining area. Great outdoor patio area and ocean view too. They have happy hour and 2 for 1 margaritas too. Will return!!!

    (4)
  • Ryan S.

Where do I start? The server "Nick" was so-so. All the food, literally all the food was straight out of a microwave. Drinks were ok to good. But back to the food: it was bland, boring and almost stale. It was just gross. This is not an exaggeration it seemed as all the appetizers were straight out of Sam's Club. The view is good if that's what you are looking for. Just don't come here for the service and food...

Excellent restaurant, with great service. My wife had the all you can eat Crab Legs, and said it was some of the best she has ever had. I had the grilled chopped steak with mushrooms and gravy, and it was outstanding.

  • Christian M.

Had the all you can eat crab legs and boy was it worth it! The crabs come out piping hot and at a steady rate. There were times when they were dumping more crab on our plates before we were done the previous batch. The butter was always flowing too. The crab legs themselves were meaty and tasty. The price tag was a tad high so make sure you bring your appetite! Service was excellent and also got to see the sunset over the ocean. All around awesome experience.

Phenomenal burger, and extraordinary service at the bar! So I've got this thing going on right now with burgers. I don't know why because I've got some blazing high uric acid levels these days and I shouldn't even be eating the things. Maybe I was a lion in my former life. I just can't stop feeding on red meat. Anywho, medical and fantastic stories aside, La Chica and I ventured over to Corey Ave. after a long day of bar hopping along the beach, starting at Crabby Bill's and ending at the Postcard Inn to view the 8:02 PM sunset. That's a lot of distance to cover in Crocs! So naturally, we were hungry, and we've heard a lot about this place called Willy's and how good their burgers are. So curiously, we waltzed in, but there was no hope of ever feeding there in a timely manner. There was about a 1 hour wait to be seated, and the bartender told me the wait on burgers is about 40 minutes. Ain't no damn burger worth almost 2 hours of waiting, so we bounced. That's when we noticed Oyster Shucker across the street. I'm not much of an Oyster fan, so I was a bit hesitant to enter, but I'm really glad I did. First off, there was NO WAIT to be seated, and there was 1 person at the bar. The atmosphere was nice, spacious and well air conditioned, unlike the joint across the street. We bumped bellies with the bar and were immediately greeted by the bartender, Eric. Dude was cool as hell, and took care of us the entire time we hung out. We ordered some PEEL & EAT SKRIMPS, OYSTERS and look oh what they have on the menu, a $10 BURGER! Ladies and gentlemen, this is a FLAME-GRILLED 10 oz. burger, and it instantly landed in my top 5. It was that delicious. While struggling to finish this thing, several people inside the establishment advised me that the burgers across the street are indeed good, but not flame-grilled, so I think I landed at the better burger establishment. I will most definitely return the next time I'm in St. Pete Beach!

You're coming here for the crab legs. Sweet and succulent, accompanied by warm butter. It doesn't get much better. The hubs had the salmon florentine. It was meh and, if not for this entree, OS would be getting 5 stars for the 2 lbs. of crab legs I thoroughly enjoyed!

Awesome experience from the second we walked inside! First off, my boyfriend and I are HUGE Blackhawks fans and saw a hawks jersey hung on the wall which was a huge plus. The hostess was very friendly and sat us outside. We ordered the shrimp for an appetizer then the all you can eat crab and the scallops. The scallops were AMAZING. They were huge and totally worth it. My boyfriend sat there for at least two hours eating the crab. We are from Chicago so getting crab down in Florida is a must every time. We also got the two for one margarita deal going on. I wish they were a little stronger but I got two so I'm not complaining! There were two guys sat outside shortly after Us who were pretty wild and loud, but we ignored them haha. We saw the advertisement for this place while sitting on the beach and took a chance and are so glad we did! We will definitely be back next year during Fourth of July week!

My husband and I ate dinner here twice while we were on our honeymoon! He had oysters and a shrimp sandwich and I had the fried shrimp one night, and when we went back we had the all you can eat crab legs! The food was great and I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!!

Absolutely loved this place! All the employees we interacted with were extremely friendly and there was a genuine good fun vibe to the place. They had a balloon guy walking around to tables and making hats for kids and adults, they were truly impressive and had people enjoying him. We both got the all you can eat crab for $28.95 each. They were not stingy and kept new crab coming every 8 minutes or so. Very delicious and a great experience!

LOVE The Oyster Shucker! Authentic seafood style restaurant that truly feels like vacation. Their menu specialty is All-U-Can-Eat crablegs...7 days a week for $26.95! Best deal on the beach. Enjoy the water view from their outdoor deck:-)

Had raw oysters...HUGE! Also had the paella, as recommended by the waiter, and it was delicious---lots of shrimp, clams and mussels. My wife and daughter had chicken wraps. They were twice the size of any other wrap. They could have easily split one order and been full! Busy place! Have all you can eat crab legs and they seemed to be the favorites for other customers. Great experience and service!!

I was on a quest to find raw oysters on our recent visit to Florida and it was much harder than I thought. This is how we ended up here late on a Sunday night. The restaurant is a little run down and it wasn't busy the night we visited. The oysters were large and fresh but they were not from Florida (Chesapeake Bay). Others in the group had soup and a blackened fish which were all very average, Service was very good but I wouldn't return.

The Sashimi was old and tasteless. The seaweed salad was old and wilted, rotting. Terrible dining experience.

  • Abby D.

I had the veggie tacos which aren't bad but definitely something I could throw together at home. Too much by the way for veggie tacos. The fish in fish tacos was deep fried and not the greatest either. I feel the food is just overpriced for what it is. People go there for the endless crab legs for 26 dollars a person. I just don't like places where the bread I get served before dinner is what I liked most of all.

Im sitting at a booth now!! My husband and I drove from Tampa here! I must say they were prompt.! Fast friendly service, the bread is really really good. The Salad Bar is very satisfying you can tell they put time into making things the best for their customers. I will upload pics of the seafood pot i ordered as soon as it arrives

First time here during our vacation. We had the all you can eat crab and it was Amazing. I can't believe the great quality considering it was an all you can eat. The primary thing we Loved was the GREAT customer service. Touristy places don't have the best customer service but this place was fantastic. We never had to wait for more Crab legs and they were fresh. I believe it was the owner who came out and asked how we were doing. Definitely will be back.

These reviews don't lie. This place is awesome. Crab legs just keep coming. Oh my god I'm stuffed!!! Great place for all you can eat crab legs for sure!! Will come back again before we head back home. And will be back next year for sure.

Quite impressed with the place. After hitting the 4th Street for my all you can eat snow crab for years, I got a little ticked off when they raised their Tuesday price to 35 bucks. Enter Oyster Shucker, where they not only have a $25 price, but they also do all you can eat snow crab every day. Went in with the thought that they'll give me a fresh first batch, and slowly the next batches will lessen in their quality. I was wrong! Not only did they bring out fresh batches of crab without me even asking for more, each new batch they did bring had that beautiful orange/reddish sheen without the brownish discolorations you sometimes get. All in all a great experience. The motif of the place is kitschy, so you'll be in a FL seafood environment rather than a glamorous one! But for this crab aficionado, I could care less!

From ATL and I'm a food snob. My wife wanted all you can eat crab legs for $26 she probably ate double that. She's happy I'm happy. Quality crab legs are standard. No awards here but great value on the all you can eat. Sit on porch, wear shorts & have a beer!

Someone at our hotel recommended this places for great crab legs at a decent price. We arrived around 6 and were able to sit outside with a view of the gulf. They had 2 for 1 margaritas so we took advantage and they were very good. In the end we opted for the lobster and shrimp pizza and added on the salad bar for $2.99. The salad bar wasn't huge but had everything you need and it was just an add-on so it was fine. My only complaint was the huge pieces of lettuce. I actually took away a star for that because, if you're putting out lettuce for a salad, make it bite-sized. It's just common sense and really annoying when they don't. The pizza was amazing! We could only eat half and took the other half for later (it was just as good reheated in a pan). The service was great and so were the prices. I would definitely go here again and recommend other people do to. P.S. Even though we didn't have the crab legs, others did and they looked really good.

If you like low quality frozen food, you will feel right at home. This place is terrible, and if I could give it NO stars, I would! First of all, our waiter was strange, and made us be more "enthusiastic" about being at the restaurant. Not cool, don't make me feel like I need to be a different way just to make the waiter happy. Just let me dine as I want to dine. Secondly, and more importantly, the name is seriously misleading. We went thinking it would be an oyster bar. It's not. In fact, our waiter told us that the oysters are farm raised, and probably came from Virginia on that particular date. Gross. I would never voluntarily eat farm raised oysters. They have to spray a saline/salt solution to finish the oysters just to give them flavor. Needless to say, if you care about eating good food, about where your food comes from, or about the environmental impacts of food production, DO NOT EAT HERE! It is just another Sysco-buying chain-like restaurant.

All you can eat snow crab was mediocre. My friend ordered the porterhouse and had to have it recooked three times. The rolls and garlic herb butter were delicious. We had a friendly and nice server.

We had the all you can eat crab legs. Pricey, so come hungry. It helps to be able to crack and eat crabs quickly. I am able to, and I NEVER got ahead of the refills. They keep it coming without any of the attitude or intentional slowdowns you sometimes get at these places. Service was extremely friendly and efficient. I can safely say I got my money's worth. We are outside and it was quite pleasant. A view of the gulf. There was a band playing at the bar across the street that was quite good too. We would go back.

Service was a bit sketchy and it was not too crowded on a Saturday night (off season). The place is trying for seaside casual, but it misses the mark a bit and seemed well, a little sad. Just ok crab/corn chowder. Ordered a 1/2 dozen oysters my husband said were just ok. Steamed clams were way over priced for the size and quality. Liked the fish sandwich- HUGE portion, definitely enough to share. Upcharge for onion rings - I get it, but there were too few to justify an upcharge. I imagine if we went for "all you can eat" crab we may have had a different experience. Not on our list of places we'd go back to in Gulfport/St. Pete

We were skeptical of eating here d/t some of the reviews read on here; however, I am glad that we sucked it up and went. The food was good. The crablegs were not skinny and they kept coming back asking if we were ready for more. Vince and I had the all you can eat crablegs; my son had cajun shrimp, and his buddy had the seafood broil pot thing that can feed two (yes, this greedy teen ate the whole thing!!) I didn't care for the mojitos - a bit sour and the butter was not what I was used to, but it was still all good. We left stuffed to the gills! I will revisit when I return.

Doesn't look like much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was laid back and friendly. The food was very good. I had a dozen raw oysters which were meaty and tasty. Decent options for the non-adventurous in your group (though the menu seemed a little on the thin side--this place really is about the oysters).

Excellent food and server Nick takes great care of his cistomers. Marlene the owner runs a great place and only expects perfection which she gets from her team!!! Make this a must go to place when in St Pete Beach area

We ate here Wednesday night March 4th. It was a beautiful evening, so we sat outside on patio and saw a great sunset. 5 of us all are and drank for $125.00. 2 of us(me included) ordered the Tuna sashimi appetizer for our entree. It was $12.95 and it was enough to feed two! It was Happy Hour until 7pm which included the salad bar for $2.99!!!!! Salad bar was sufficient, not the best and not the worst-plenty of options. Our table also had the tuna wrap-which was gigantic!!! I've never seen such a large wrap. It would have fed 4people and I'm not exaggerating. My daughter had all you can eat crab legs and they kept them coming every 6minutes. She had to finally give up. They were $28.95 as she ate ALOT! Hubby had the mussels in white wine and they were plentiful and delicious. We were very pleased with this being our first time here. Happy hour was also $3.00 house wines and other specials. Very good for the price and quantity and quality. Very casual place. Recommend!

You never know how good all you eat eat special will be but I was pleasantly surprised at how good the all you can eat crab legs were and my loaded mashed potato side. Great price and we had great service eating at the bar. You can't beat the buy one get one free margarita either! This will definitely be one of my go to spots when I'm in town again.

yeah the place is a little run down but We had a nice time. All you can eat crab was a good value for the price, $26 not the best crab in the world but I Loved them and ate my fill. They were hot and they kept them coming. On Sat the balloon guy was there and yes its tacky as hell but it was funny as he made his rounds making hats and animals. People shouldn't be so hard on this place. Its not the Lobster Chop House in Boca but its a great place to get crab and not break the bank. .I would come back for sure.

We were swimming in St. Pete's beach and saw the plane with the banner flying above us advertising the all you can eat crab legs. So, that really convinced us to check this place out. We are glad that we did. The crab is great! I am still eating as I type this review. We will definitely be back on our next trip.

I took my daughter there for oysters. Nice place, clean, affordable, great location. Our server Carlos was awesome, very friendly and attentive. Food came out fast. Warm homemade bread, a dozen raw oysters, fried shrimp and I had the salad bar. My daughter loved the oysters, they disappeared fast. I'd like to go back at sunset and sit outside.

Awesome place for dinner! Our first time there we got the endless crab legs with a side of okra and a couple of margaritas. The crab legs were DELICIOUS and so fresh. We sat inside and our server was hysterical. He was hilarious from the get-go and took great care of us. On our last refill of crab legs, he came out in a lobster costume and it totally made our night. We loved this place so much that we went back 2 days later and had the crab legs again. We sat outside on the deck the 2nd time and watched THE most beautiful sunset. I recommend this place to anyone who loves crab as much as we do! We will be going again.

This Place is GREAT!!! My Partner and I were recently vacationing in Treasure Island and received a recommendation to go to this restaurant. We went during the lunchtime hours. The restaurant is draped in seafaring decor and was a light and airy space. Our server was Carlos. I have to tell you, if you get the chance to eat here ask for him by name. He was really attentive and had a really great personality! A real asset to the restaurant! On to our meal.... My partner ordered steamed snow crab. The plate that arrived had three ample clusters of perfectly steamed and seasoned crab.... thoroughly delicious! I ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell. The oysters were of good size and very clean. Not a piece of shell shard in the batch. I also ordered the steamed shrimp. They arrived in a basket and were highly and perfectly seasoned with Old Bay seasoning. These were a real treat to eat!! I look forward to going back on our next vacation to the area. And truly, I hope that we have the opportunity to have the great service we received from Carlos again. The prices were totally reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food!!

Nothing special about this place at all. It might be good for families and/or older folks (since it was full of both), but I wasn't impressed. I had the Mahi Hunk, which was cooked well & tasted fine, but again, nothing special. Mashed potatoes were OK, but nothing to write home about. The service was average and I honestly felt rushed. Carlos seemed impatient with us (party of 2), barely made eye contact and hurried us through our order. He returned only once after our meals were delivered. I'd say skip it unless maybe you like crab legs (all you can eat?), which seemed to be on most every table.

Very quaint atmosphere with decent prices. You can bring the family. Ordered raw oysters, wings, peel & eat shrimp. All were good. I had a raspberry Cosmo that was really weak :/ The bar across the street was rocking live music so it was sort of noisy if you're sitting outside.

Probably one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. I'm only giving this place 1 star because they still had happy hour drinks at 730 on a Saturday night and because their bread was really good. We originally had other dinner plans for the evening but had seen a flyer about the all you can eat crab so decided to give it a try. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted by a very sweet and polite hostess who told us the wait would be about 15 minutes. We went over to the bar and had a drink while we waited for them to call our name. After about 10 minutes we were seated outside on a screened in patio. Our server was attentive in the beginning, taking our drink order and telling us his favorites on the menu. After we ordered the oysters Rockefeller though for an appetizer, he seemed to forget about us. There were three other tables on the patio with us, all helped by their servers, but ours was nowhere to be seen for about 25 minutes. He finally came out to tell us the oysters shouldn't be much longer. Another 10 minutes went by and we finally got them. Not only was I pissed because we had waited 30+ minutes for them, but you could tell they had been sitting under a heat lamp for at least 15 of those minutes. The hollandaise sauce had turned a different color and was hardened slightly and the spinach had clearly just been thawed before using it in our dish. On top of all of that, they tasted god awful. The server came by and I sent them back (they were also taken off the tab.) I had ordered all you can eat crab for dinner and my boyfriend had the fried shrimp basket. We waited another 25 minutes for them to come out after watching two other tables (that had sat down after us) get all of their food before us. Once we finally got our meals, I started on my crab only to realize it was half frozen...nice. After that, the rest of if was overcooked. The shrimp basket was pretty decent seeing as it's kind of hard to mess up fried food. At this point, I was pretty pissed off and had given up on the restaurant entirely so we asked for the check (waited another 10 minutes for that) and finally left.

I was enjoying a 5hour day of getting sun burned when I saw a plane fly by advertising all you can eat crabs. Me and my friend look at eachother and go "OHHHH YEAHHHH." So we ended up here for all you can eat crab! The crab is delicious (though slightly over cooked.) Service is spot on, very fast and very friendly. They had some great drink specials going on and the patio is quiet. Sorry, but I dont really enjoy cover bands playing rock n roll with a bunch of drunk old timers dancing around me. (Speaking about bar across the street) The key lime pie was good (maybe 3 out of 5 stars) You should really check out the all you can eat crab, because they do not stop the crab coming until you beg for mercy :)

Sitting on the beach today and a plane flies by advertising AYCE crab legs tonight. Came by to eat, place is closed for the 4th. Bad business practice.....we won't be back!

I'm on day four of my most recent vacation to St. Pete Beach and this is where I had my most satisfying meal to date. I ordered the all you can eat crab legs. They were hot, meaty, tasty and plentiful. I never had to ask for more. Before my plate was empty, someone would stop by my table and add another one or two claws to my plate. The service was terrific and I had no complaints. I highly recommend this location if you are craving crab legs.
